Clifford Smith

Clifford Fitzgerald Smith, 53, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on November 25, 2021, at 4:11 p.m., at Baptist Hospital East. He was born December 6, 1967, in Greenwood, Mississippi, the first-born son of Annie B. Smith and the late Carl Clifford Smith. Clifford graduated from Hillcrest High School and Southwest Vocational where he learned to do what he loved most, work on cars. He also attended State Tech. Clifford is survived by his mother, Annie B. Smith; three children – son, Clifford Fernandes Jaqueze Smith, step-son, Marvyn LuArt Gaynor, III, and his daughter, Chelsea Franchesca Elmira Smith; three grandchildren, Layla Ayanna Richardson, Christian Alexander Smith and Carter Ethan Smith; wife, Aungelique “Angie” Smith; two brothers, Carl Flores Smith and Cameron Fernando Smith (Tosha Malone); two nephews, Jordan Christopher Smith and Miles Smith; two nieces, Cirby Armani Smith and Olivia Smith; seven sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, eleven aunts, seven uncles, as well as a host of cousins and his stepmother, Sarah Smith. Clifford loved life, his family and friends. He would not want us to mourn, but instead he wants us to party and celebrate him to the fullest.
