Johnny Wilson

March 23, 1959 - March 30, 2022

ohnny Frank Wilson was born March 23, 1959, in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Mr. Albert R. Wilson (preceded him in death) and Mrs. Delores (Wilson) Todd. Johnny was the oldest of four siblings; one brother, Tony R. Wilson, and two sisters, Charlotte Michelle Watkins and Donna F. Todd (Lee) Watkins. Johnny was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Reverend R. W. Taylor in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a dedicated employee at Makowsky, Ringel & Greenberg for seventeen years until he took ill (2003-2020). He was recognized as employee of year. Johnny was raised by a caring, loving and wonderful stepfather, Mr. A. C. Todd, who preceded him in death. Johnny leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Mrs. Delores Todd; two sisters, Charlotte Watkins and Donna Todd (Lee) Watkins; five nephews, Walter Watkins of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Courtney Watkins, Tyler Young, Darius Watkins and A. C. Watkins, and one niece, Darielle Watkins, all of Memphis, Tennessee; his aunt and uncle, Mrs. Doris (Jean) and Mr. Billie Echols; his caring and loving uncle, Pastor Charles E. (Thelma) Gray; loving and caring cousins, relatives and friends; and one honorary and special friend, Mrs. Dorothy “Sunshine” Hamer. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his nephew, Tonio Wilson.
