Mrs. Lillian Betty Wesson was born September 20, 1939 to Mr. Gillie and Mary Malone whom precedes her in death. She was affectionally known as and called "Sue”, Sue Lu” and “Suga Momma”. Mrs. Lillian Betty Wesson was very smart, intelligent, classy and fashionable woman. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She graduated from Mt. Pisgah High School in 1957. Mrs. Lillian Betty Wesson was married to Mr. Au- gusta Wesson whom also precedes her in death. Mrs. Lillian Betty Wesson was a dedicated and faithful member of Greater Lak- eview Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Joe Hayes and after retire- ment Rev. Wright. until her health begin to fell. She served in numerous capac- ities within the church which includes and not limited to Church Secretary, Usher and Mother Board. She loved to cook and feed others; laugh and joke, her smile was very contagious. She was also a surrogate mother to many be- cause of her love and compassion for others. She was an avid sports fan with her favorite team being the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies. Mrs. Lillian Betty Wesson’s favorite scripture was the 23rd Psalm which she taught all of her grandchildren to recite and remember before they ate. Mrs. Lillian Betty Wesson was a remarkable homemaker whereas she raised her four children that she conceived through marriage with Mr. Arthur Henry Moore, Sr. whom also precedes her in death. Mrs. Lillian Betty Wesson leaves to cherish her memories her one and only daughter Mrs. Jeannie Marie Cook (Isaac), Mr. Terrence Lynn Moore, Mr. Ar- thur Henry Moore, Sr., (Margaret) and Mr. Shawn Marcellas Moore, Sr. all from Memphis, TN. As the last one and baby girl, preceding her in death her brother Mr. Gillie Malone, Sr., sister Ann Williamson and brother Mr. Samuel Malone. She also leaves her grandchildren LaShica, Shawn C. Sr., (LaToya), Marquette, (Antonio), Ashanuti, Marquisha, Artrell, Shawn M. Jr.,(Dee), Terrence Jr., Jul- ian, Marcellas, Priscilla and Tino; eleven great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. She also leaves a God-Son Ricky Freeman from Minneso- ta and great friend Ms. Geneva Moore of Memphis, Tennessee.
