Mario Holloway

July 22, 1980 - April 9, 2021

Mario Terrance Holloway, 40, departed this world on Friday, April 9, 2021. He was born to the late Robert Lee Holloway and Zenobia Holloway on July 22, 1980, in Memphis, Tennessee. Mario confessed his love for Christ at an early age. At the age of ten, he attended the neighborhood church by himself. On that day, he accepted Christ and was baptized. He was excited to show his mother his baptismal certificate and share his experience. Mario attended South Side High School. He loved football and swimming. He had a passion for cooking and held several jobs in the food service industry. He started working in restaurants at the age of sixteen. Mario Terrance Holloway leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Zenobia Holloway; his seven children, Elijah Holloway, Jeremiah Holloway, Kirsten Holloway, Jaiyce Holloway, Jaiyden Holloway, Marliyah Holloway, and Markayla Holloway, all of Memphis, Tennessee; his sisters, Angel Milam, Katrina Scott-Davis (Ronald), Shaundreka Fox, and Cristal Smith; his brothers, Leigh Holloway of North Tonawanda, New York, Robert Langston (Victoria) of Phoenix, Arizona, and Michael Mingle of New York; his uncles, Tony Holloway, Mack Slater, Jr., Larry Mack Brown, and Bobby Jackson; his aunts, Irish Holloway & Cheryl Houston of Memphis, Tennessee, Sandra Holloway of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Brenda El-min of Destin, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. In his legacy on April 9, 2021, he reunited with the love of his life, Cheryl Jones, who preceded him in death on February 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his sister, Keshia Milam.
