Renita Morrow

October 21, 1971 - February 26, 2021

Renita Lashun Morrow, “Nita”, was born October 21, 1971, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Willie Morrow and Mattie Foote. She departed this life on February 26, 2021. Nita was preceded in death by her grandparents, who she dearly cherished, Tommy and Katie Deal. Renita accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Springdale Baptist Church under the guidance of Dr. Lee R. Brown. She graduated from Southside High School in 1990, here in Memphis. She took pride and delight in her work as a Records and Identification Support Tech with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department for the past fifteen years. Renita leaves the love of her life and long-time companion, Retired Lt. Bobby Jones of the Memphis Police Department, to cherish her memory. She also leaves three sisters, Twana Dortch, Denise Howard, and Sharon Dixon, along with a host of other family members and friends. As a devoted baby sister and aunt, Renita was thrilled about attending family events and always brought joy to any celebration.
