Toney Bridges

September 1, 1960 - March 11, 2022

Toney Loparca Bridges was born to A. B. and Ada S. Bridges on September 1, 1960, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a student at Georgia Avenue Elementary and Vance Middle School. Upon graduation from Central High School in Memphis, Tennessee, he enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. When he returned to Memphis, he gained employment with FedEx Logistics. At the time of his passing, Toney had been employed with FedEx for over thirty years. He served as an Associate Advisor. Toney was baptized at an early age at Annesdale-Cherokee Baptist Church under the pastorage of Dr. R. T. Joyner. He was presently a member of Olivet Fellowship Church. Toney leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Mrs. Ada S. Bridges; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and church members and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, A. B. Bridges, and three brothers, Joe, Maurice, and Leonard.
