Tony Woodard

October 16, 1960 - August 8, 2021

Tony “Chris” Woodard was born October 16, 1960, to Shirley Wright-Ellis in Jackson, Mississippi. He confessed and accepted Christ at an early age. He graduated from G.W. Carver High School and attended Shelby State and Memphis State for art. He loved music. Chris played bass guitar and blew a trumpet. He enjoyed singing and drawing. Chris loved sports. His favorite sport was football, and his favorite team was the Philadelphia Eagles. Chris leaves to mourn his passing: his mother Shirley Wright-Ellis, one daughter Jessica Woodard, one son Christopher Woodard, two brothers Ramon Lopez Wright (Toya), Keith Wright (Maria), one brother proceeded him in death Kenneth Earl Woodard, one Uncle Charles Woodard (Mary Ann) of Las Vegas, Nevada; 10 grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
